review 1: Getting Revenge on Lauren Wood by Eileen Cook was one of the best books I have ever read. I would give it a 5/5 stars. I would definitely recommend this book to all the girls around my age level. I have a hard time reading books because I’m not really into reading but when I find an amazing and interesting book I’m able to finish it in a week and that’s what I did with Getting Revenge on Lauren Wood.One of my three reasons why I would recommend this book was because it was very suspenseful. A lot happened in the book and it was all interesting. Every page had had something new on it and I didn’t want to put down the book. For example at the beginning of the book there were two best friend friends and on page 19 it says,“I didn’t rat out anyone. You did.”“Ye... moreah, but that wasn’t a problem. The truth isn’t important. What matters are what people think is the truth. If I’m going to be somebody, then I need people on my side.”“But why?”This was one part in the book when I wanted to keep reading. The author did this a lot in the book and this is one of the reasons why I would recommended it.The second reason why I would recommend it was being it was very intense. There was so much going on but everything that happened was so interesting that I couldn't even believe it was happening. In the book the two girls started off as best friends and then all of a sudden one of the girls Helen was betrayed by her best friend Lauren and it got so bad that Helen had to move. Then before senior year she went back to her hometown with a new look and a new name. Plotting revenge on Lauren wood. I really enjoyed this book because all the detail that I could visualize the whole book.My third reason that I would recommend this book is because it is very inspiring. The overall lesson of the book was “Be who you are and not what you want to be”. Helen spent her whole high school years worrying about getting revenge on her ex best friend instead of worrying about her life ahead of her (job, family and collage). The author at the end of the book had the character realize that’s it’s a waste worry about her friend and just to live life. She went back to being herself Helen.When I finished this book I thought that this is a good life lesson to a lot of people. The author used so much detail that I couldn’t stop reading it. I loved the book Getting revenge on Lauren Wood by Eileen Cook. And I can’t wait to red more of her books.
review 2: What good book. I enjoyed it a lot. Helen was a normal girl until her best friend betrayed her for popularity. After the incident Helen couldn't take the embarrassment and her moved NewYork city. 3 years later she had the opportunity to get revenge in Lauren Wood.She had to make a few minor changes to herself get back at Lauren. I wanted read this book because the cover grabbed me attention. I finished the book to see if Helen and Lauren would be friends again. I would recommend this book to Noor because it a good teen book just for Noor. less
