review 1: All of these reviews are saying "My favorite Eileen Cook book yet" ..... Not that I hated this book, by any stretch, but it was defiantly not my favorite.I defiantly liked the suspense factor. You never knew Sadies identity or what she was going to pull next. I also liked how relatively short this book was. I READ IT IN A DAY!!! That's the awesome thing about Cook's writing, she gets right to the point. I thought Sadie was under developed though. She was going to Berkley. So I expected her to say things about a heavy course load and always studying.... This is a minor detail but I thought it would have helped the story.I liked how the person who committed the crime was the least suspected... Seriously... Who would have thought.Overall I liked the book, But not my favorite ... moreby Eileen. I just cant wait to read Year of Mistaken Discoveries next!!!!
review 2: When I started reading this book I really thought it was something I would get into, unfortunately I could only get to the third chapter before I realized that it wasn't for me. At first the character seemed like someone I would relate to, poor girl living in misery and trying desperately to escape her small town and crappy life, but in the first chapter I realized I couldn't and after that I just wasn't able to get into the story. For the right person this would no doubt be an amazing story. less
