review 1: This series just keeps getting better & better as I read. The drug ring & the mystery of the old shipwreck are still running strong & I haven't got a clue as to what's gonna happen with either, usually you get a hint somewhere but no!!!!! Everything that has happened so far has been a surprise. Julie & Cole's relationship has been none existent since he kissed her as a teenage boy & she slapped him. But that hasn't stopped either of them so dream about the other. Situations throw them together & pasts pull them apart....This book is funny, heart wrenching & very sensual I would definitely recommend as a must read & can't wait to get into Val's story next. Elisabeth Barrett is becoming a favorite author to read.
review 2: As the third book in this series, it was
... more very good. Again, the drug runners are back, and Julie found the final key from the pirate legend. The relationship between Julie and Cole was different than the last two books which was refreshing. They came to terms about the fact that they were in love a lot quicker than the previous two couples. It was nice not to have to read about them fighting their feelings so much. Instead, they had to fight to get past Cole's PTSD. I am really looking forward to finishing the series with Val's story next. less

For some reason I didn't like this one as well as the first two -- unsure of why.....
