review 1: Is there anything Ms. Gordon can't write well or make absolutely hilarious? Honestly, I don't know the answer to that question but I can say that what she does write, she does instead do well and it is indeed hilarious.I never cease to have a good time when I pick up one of her books and that is why I will continue to pick them up as often as she can write them. No this book isn't perfect, they never are but they are funny as all heck and I have such a great time while reading them that the rest really doesn't matter. Honestly, how could you not love this one with all the Star Wars references and funny one liners?Truly another fun read that is perfect for whenever you need a good laugh and a sweet romance to help brighten your day.
review 2: Jayne Dandy is not... more you ordinary girl. She has problems unlike most people. When she loses her job, she turns to her journals and publishes them. Little does she know, these journals turn out to be a hit. What does this cost her? Because what is in these journals is something she is afraid that everyone she knows will make fun of her. Jayne is your top of the line nerd geek to the core. She doesn't care about fashion or much anything else but she loves to write and loves her ducks. She also loves the food from her friend Luke's food truck. Luke helps her out by giving her a job on this food truck. His crazy ex-girlfriend doesn't like this one bit. Jayne has caught the eye of a guy from her previous job. All this sets up for a major disaster and can any of these find what they are looking for and happiness. Will those journals make it hard for Jayne to go forward or will it cost her everything? This book has so much going own that you will not be able to put it down. I love everything about it, from the way it is written, to the storyline and its many twist and turns. This book is different from the author's first book but I think I love it as much or maybe even more. This is a must read now book. Don't just put it on your long to be read list because it is that good. The wittiness of the storyline is incredible. I want more of these characters when I finished the book because I didn't want it to end. Loved every word of this book! This author is amazingly brilliant. less
