review 1: This is a second book in this series and I loved it! I loved the first book, but this one is just as good if not better. This author knows how to get your attention and keep it. I read this book in one sitting stopping long enough to eat while reading. I love Goldie Locke and the other characters especially the animals like the pink elephant, dragon, and zombie chicken. This book has it all romance, suspense and is paranormal with witches and vampires. I can't wait until the next book in this series comes out so I can find out what happens next.A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
review 2: Baehrly Bitten takes up right where Baehrly Breathing left us. Goldie is stil
... morel taking care of Fred, her Zombie Chicken (who doesn't like Zombie chickens?)Petunia, the pinky miniature elephant plus her cats. She is still dealing with being a werebear when she agrees to work on a case with Donavan. There is plenty of Kodi as well. Several action scenes, humor,a touch of romance complete with a twist I didn't see coming. The only thing I really didn't like was the ending. This book was shorter than what I normally read so that may be why it feels like the ending was rushed. Its also left with a cliffhanger. So, I am impatiently waiting for the next book! Oh yes you might want to read Book One and the Prelude before reading this one. This really isn't a stand alone book. less
