review 1: I've been enjoying the Cindy Eller stories immensely so far...but I must express my disappointment with this book. Throughout the series Cindy and Timothy's story has had its ups and a few downs, but after the last book (How Not to Kiss A Ghost) their love became stronger especially after the "ghost" of Timothy's mother sacrificed herself to save everyone. She knew Cindy would be all he needed to get through her death again. Cindy's father apologized and recognized their love and even Cindy's mother stated Timothy was part of the family. You can understand my disappointment when all of the sudden in this book, their love is tossed aside like it doesn't matter..even though he gave up everything for her and she would have done the same. I don't even mind that something happe... morened to change their relationship or that our heroine already has a new love interest...whom I do enjoy. It's the quickness and general disregard for everything they've been through.
review 2: I love the Cindy Eller series and I have been anticipating this book since I finished the last one months ago. I guess I was hoping for more out of this book. There really wasn't a lot of action like previous books and that was a shame. We did meet lots of new characters in this book but again because if the changing story line this book was more drawn out with explanation than action.That being said, the book was still good but the ending ticked me off! Just as the book was getting good it ended!! Oh....Yea. here I am at 84% read on my Kindle and it just ends! Huge cliffhanger with the remaining 16% left for previews for other books by this author. I felt cheated at the end :(I normally love this author!! less
