review 1: Interesting story of searching for yourself among others. Cece loses her best friend to cancer, then changes her entire life, sells her house and moves in with 3 other women. I enjoyed the interrelationships of the women, their relationships with family and the premise hat it is never too late to start something new. The story progression was too quick at times with strangers telling their life stories in ways that was not truly realistic.
review 2: I usually love Berg, but this one just fell short for me. I could be colored, however, but the unexpected second novel tacked on to the "end" of my kindle edition. I was frustrated for the last 1/4 of the book that according to my kindle ticker I was nowhere near the end even though it seemed like the book was end
... moreing. I didn't find out until the book was actually over that there was just an extra book at the end and instead of being 45% done with the book, I was 100% done. It really soured the experience of reading this book. Maybe I would have been happier with the ending if I hadn't thought I was still in the middle of a book that seemed to be going nowhere since my ticker said I had 55% of the book to go. less

Not my favorite Elizabeth Berg work. Read like the fluffy teen romance novels of my youth.

a very predictable, but fast, sweet read...a good summertime read...about friendship

I have read many books by this author. This is not one of her best. Too predictable.
