review 1: Honestly, it took me awhile to get into the book. Some parts were quite boring, but in the end, I am glad I read it. I'm not a fan of ghost stories and that's what I thought this would be. It wasn't. It's more of a story of friendship, love, and family. Tee and Jack are in Alaska for two weeks with their dad while he works on a book he is trying to write about sled dogs. Tee runs the family and doesn't like people. She meets Quin who is very similar to her. On a hike, they discover some thing mysterious in the woods. This leads to another hike, a storm, and a possible witch.

Tee, her brother and her dad moved to Alaska.Her dad was writing a novel about sled dogs so he wanted to move ... moreto Alaska to learn more about them. When His writing partner came to their house he brought his daughter- Gwen. Tee and Gwen became friends fast. When one day Tee went out to walk her dog, her dog started acting really weird down by the old mine. It was like something there watching them. Tee then told Gwen and Gwen told her about the legend that there is a mysterious shadow thar lurks down there. Tee and Gwen then set out to unravel the truth about the mysterious ghost dog. less
