review 1: I'm sorry, but I found this book too much... Disney. Too perfect, everything was too. perfect. The basketball game... the kiss... the unconditional friendship... I don't know, maybe I've grown too much for this book. Anyway, it has good things, it's funny and I like to laugh while I read, and it's very related to The Beatles which is what I was expecting since the beginning :) It's a book to spend some good time, it probably won't become your favorite book, but you'll get very good laughs
review 2: Title: The Lonely Hearts Club Author: Elizabeth Eulberg Genre: Realistic Fiction The Lonley Hearts Club takes place in a love story type where this girl falls in love with her best friend and they become dating and he did her wrong and her best fri... moreend leave her for some guys and so this girl is lonely and sad because boys have been doing her wrong and because her best friend did her wrong by pushing her away and doing her wrong. Well one day this girl was at school and her best friend broke up with her boy friend and now the girls friend is trying to talk to her now because she don't got a boy friend no more so the girl feels kind of funny because her friend now wants to be friends because she don't got a boy friend. The main characters is Penny she is sweet, kind, and don't like dating much no more because she's been put down or hurt by every boys she's been with and she was also hurt by her best friend Diane. Diane was Penny's best friend until she picked a boy over her and Nick was Penny's best friend when they were younger and when they got older they stared dating and so when they were dating Penny cought Nick with another girl in Penny's basement. The plot of the book is to have Penny find the perfect guy so she can be happy and for Pnney to be friends with Diane again and Penny goes through a hole lot with guys she gets hurt by them boys she gets used and played by them and she feels bad because she haas been hurt so much and she crys every time she gets with a boy and they turn around and do her wrong so Penny said that she is done dating because she can't go through this stuff anymore with these boys. The theme of this is that Penny is a nice and lovely person she is sweet and has been through a hole lot and deep down in Penny she is sad hurt and hart broken she crys in the inside and she really don't show how she feels on the outside is because she is trying to show people that she is not heart broken and that nothing bad is going on well Penny she needs better she don't need to be treated a unfair way so Penny is trying to find the right person and trying to get her friendship back with Diane and she is hoping everything will come back right. This book is really good because it tells u that to not trust boys and never let your best friend leave u for a boy and this book makes you want to read it because it is good it has a lot going on in this book and Penny is a really good person in this book and Nick he is a good person to even know he put his bestfreind down and hurt her and Diane she is nice but she did a hole lot to make her self look pretty and it is sad that Diane picked a boy over her bestfreind but I think that Penny and Diane will work it out. less
