review 1: This is a book about a mermaid with bitchin white hair. She falls in love with every guy she sees for no reason and guys fall in love with her for no reason, so really that makes it so I didn't really care? You know, at least Ariel had some discretion. There's this nerd called Ezra, and though he's my type all day, it was clear that mermaid chick only liked him because he was a man and could impregnate her, which is weird. Whatever floats your boat, I guess, but my boat sure wasn't floating.
review 2: Well, we are faaaar from fine literature here, but I have pretty low standards for audiobooks. The sort of book I like to sit down and read usually bores me to tears on audio, and I can't stand to actually read the sort of audiobooks that usually keep me intereste
... mored. So this fit the audiobook bill for me--interesting and exciting and dramatic enough to keep my attention, without being too ridiculous. It was fun. less

Some of the language was unnecessary, but the sensuality was kept to a pg-13.
