review 1: If you like a good romance novel along with a semi love triangle including some rock n roll; then Backstage Pass is for you. It is the first book of The Backstage Pass Rock Star Romance Series by Elizabeth Nelson. I enjoyed this book but I will warn you, major cliff hanger at the end and it totally takes you by surprise.Sasha has sworn off musicians completely after getting her heart broken by one. She refuses to have yet another let her down, but her friend Kerri wants to set her up Jesse, the lead singer of a band so bad. So after their meeting Sasha went to a college party where she needed Jesse as an escape. This began it all, Jesse made sure he kept running into Sasha whenever he could and when she broke her foot he was her knight in shining armor. Sasha tried so hard... more to deny the feelings Jesse gave her so she finally decided to give in and give them a go. Everything seemed perfect until she came face to face with the reason why she stayed away from all musicians.
review 2: Sasha has one rule when it comes to her dating life—never date a musician. We understand her heart has been broken and she would be protect herself, and never go down that road again.Jesse, The musician is everything you would want in a boyfriend, except he’s a musician. Sasha won’t allow him to enter her life unless it’s just as friends. So, Jesse takes what he can get. His overwhelming attraction to her is constantly causing the lines to be blurry. Will Sasha give into her own attraction? Is he different? Will he break her heart?This was a very well written, sensitive book. I loved the characters and felt a connection right away. It easily kept me interested and entertained throughout the entire book. It had a good pace and was rooting for their love the entire time.But the surprise I got was so unexpected, it fooled me (Not easily done) I love unexpected twist and turns and this one blew me away.
