review 1: I read this book three years ago and it somehow got lost when I moved. But it was one of my most favourite books. The story is remarkable! And the ending did not dissatisfy me one bit. Because sometimes when you see someone from your past, even after all the time has passed and everything is forgiven and forgotten, going back to the way things were never really becomes an option anymore. And that is okay.
review 2: I struggled to get into this book but once I got my head round who all the characters were I really enjoyed it - I certainly hadn't banked on being in floods of tears whilst reading it. Sometimes I felt the story was a bit long winded but this definitely cause me to feel more empathy with the characters than I perhaps would of done had they got to th... moree point very quickly in the story. Definitely recommend it but just stock up on the tissues first! less
