review 1: So not sure what to think of this series. I have more questions than answers. I wonder if the author is able to keep her stories straight or if it were deliberate, but in the first book Annabelle says she rode with Cal to the hospital in the helicopter by using her fake id and pretending to be his cousin. In this 2nd book, she tells Beast that he "died" on the helicopter and she knows this because she called the hospital posing as his sister and a nurse told her. Huh?!!! Is this going to be part of the story--her lying to Beast? If so, should gave been clarified to the reader in Anbabelle's thoughts. If not, this was a huge mistake on the author's part. Also, there are numerous typos for an author who was a USA Today Best Selling Author. Having said that, the ending w... moreas very intriguing.
review 2: Hmmmm...well, I managed to grab this one on sale for 99 cents, and the first episode intrigued me enough to want more. Still had great steam, but left me with more questions than answers. And didn't quite like the main characters as much as in the past. And since I'm one of those cheap readers that prefers to pay around a penny a page, I won't likely be getting the next books in the series....and not too disappointed about that. I would love to know where it goes, but I wasn't pulled in enough to be disappointed knowing I won't likely ever grab those books.... *shrugs* less
