review 1: I just don't know what the hell happened with this book, I'm even wondering if maybe somebody else finished this up because that's the only way one serial that started out well enough ended up with a dreadful wrinting style...this thing was all chopped and all over the place, the plot (was there even a plotline in here...because really? *SMDH*) and even the smut was so off that it is making me evaluate if I should be reading more of Ella in the future.It was so unrealistic (I know this is fiction, but it has to make sense, doesn't it?) and poorly written that this should be a first draft...This was a total let down and right now I'm going to head up and grab another book to forget about this whole debacle
review 2: *5 stars* Shocked would be an understatement i... moref I'm honest about my feeling towards my love for this book.I didn't love the first three books, but this one I loved whole heartedly. Maybe it's because I'm starting to read short novella's more often (aswell as growing a love for them) and can now fully appreciate them just as much as full length novels. This book mainly consisted of action and sex (SCORE!). A lot happens in the main plot and thankfully Beast 4 didn't consist of any boring useless moments. I felt a sense of familiarity when book 4 started and I was excited to re-enter the lives of Anabelle and Beast even though I wasn't *overly* fond of their story before.....like I said,I was shocked at my own reactions to this book. I loved the epilogue, it was unique but fitted their story and felt true to their relationship and characters. Ella James is my guilty pleasure. Whether I love all her books or not, everytime I hear a book getting released by her, I get excited and it's immediately added to my long-assed TBR list. Through this series, I definitely grew to love fairy tale re-tellings more. I'm stoked for more Ella James books. less
