review 1: Obviously written from the perspective of a pre-Elizabeth Bennett Mr. Darcy, this volume instructs gentlemen, and, to a lesser extent, ladies on appropriate courtship behavior. It was absolutely brilliant and hilarious from start to finish! It was completely in keeping with Mr. Darcy's character. I would love to see a sequel written from Mr. Darcy's perspective after having achieved his own matrimony. The sections containing "contributions" from other Austen characters, as well as the "Ask Darcy" section at the end were very clever and amusing. All in all, this was an amusing, short read for any Austen or Regency fan.
review 2: I'm sorry, I just couldn't keep going with this one. It wasn't the witty sort of funny, it was the downright mean kind. It was t
... moreurning my stomach to read Darcy as such a pretentious, unforgivably mean asshole. Yeah, I know he was exactly that before encountering Elizabeth, but I didn't need it spelled out for me so clearly. This book didn't make me laugh, if anything it pissed me off. Which is something I can do without when reading a book (unless it's about a specific issue in the book and the author's intent is to piss me off - then it's okay). I won't be picking it up again most likely. less

Sweetly silly. More of a book to dip into than to be read it it's entirety.
