review 1: I thought this was a really good book with great characters in it. I can actually imagine how a zombie Apocalypse would go down its so well written with the preparation of supplies, the sudden need to leave, the struggle to find supplies and food. A little over the top at times however with the amount of injuries the main character Orissa sustained whilst still able to kick-ass. Can only hope i can go through all that and still kick zombie-butt!!! The characters were really lovable, there is definitely a few heart wrenches in it. A few grammar issues but overall a really enjoyable book! I have already bought the second and have started reading it!
review 2: This book had me terrified, I'm surprised I actually read it at night. I've been searching every where fo... morer a good zombie read and I found it. Orissa is a 25 yr old girl who has found herself in the middle of a zombie apoclypse and lucky for her she can handle a gun. the story follows her and fellow survivors trying to escape relentless zombie attacks and then they stumble upon a government group and this is where the story really picks up. The actions scenes, of which there are many, are really well written, you feel like you are there with Orissa fighting the zombies. There is a love interest in the book and I spent most of the book waiting for them to get together, the moments between them really help to build there relationship and make it seem more plausable. Can't believe the cliffhanger she left us on.. I went straight on Amazon and bought the second book. less
