review 1: You Knew Me When by Emily Leibert kept me enthralled through the whole book. It tells the story of two thirty something women with very different lives, who are estranged best friends. The book does jump back in time ever y couple chapters to explain what led up to the friendship’s demise. In the present, their old neighbor and mentor, Luella, has left them her mansion in her will, under one stipulation: they have to clean it out together before they can sell it. The wily woman was trying to get them back together so they could mend their friendship.
review 2: I recieved this book as an advanced readers copy and honestly dont know why it took me so long to read it. Im not going to give a recap of this story as most ratings do.....I am just going to tell
... more you what I thought of it. I really enjoyed the book. It was very predictable, there were really no surprises and I knew where it was headed the entire time.....that being said, I loved reading it, couldnt put it down really......its an enjoyable, easy read. I enjoyed the characters, even though I didnt always like them. the story moved at a good pace. It wasnt one of those wordy, descriptive books that seem to go one and on....it was a very good, down to earth story about friendship, how it can go wrong and how it can go right again. great job emily.....i hope to be able to read a book by you again.... less

Nice story about the bonds of friendship. The writing was a little choppy but still a good read.
