review 1: I enjoyed this book, but it wasn't compelling enough to pull me back into reading during a busy week. This is a story about friends who are brought back together after a falling out many years ago. The characters were enjoyable and relatable and I enjoyed the flashbacks, but the story seemed rather canned and predictable. I was easily able to predict the events well before I read them. Just an OK book.
review 2: The language is poor, the vocabulary limited unless you like words such as "crap, shit, bitch" and "fuck" - author's words, not mine! The novel thread is too thin that we can't predict what happened in the characters' past or will happen in their future; the description are full of cliches and the story line simplistic. The book is a bad pale cop... morey of "The Devil wears Prada" and, as for why the two friends stayed away from each other for more than 12 years, the excuse is unrealistic and pitiful . A waste of paper... or storage bytes. Stay away. less
