review 1: Ok I always get excited about reading books that take place in areas I am familiar with and especially areas I grew up in. this book had just that, plus the hero goes to my favorite college, (roll tide) but again it was a good story anyway. I love a good, bad boy/good girl story and this is just that, Lindy and Lucas grow up together, friends from a young age but something happens at the end of high school that changes everything. The story picks up with Lindy coming home from graduating college. She is ready to get a job teaching and move on with her life, but Lucas local bad boy, who drives a motorcycle and even works on them as a mechanic hasn’t forgotten her or what happened and he wants to make emends and maybe even more. Of course there are crazy ex girlfriends and... more a mystery to keep u wanting to know how the story turns out.Looking forward to more of this series
review 2: This is only the second book that I have read by Emily Minton. The first being Renegade Lady in which she was a co-author. I absolutely loved this book! I sat engrossed in this book for two hours. I couldn't put it down because I was dying to know how it would end and if Kelsey would ever stop being a psychotic "female dog". Although Lucas made me so frustrated at times, I honestly believe that him and Melinda, aka Lindy, are perfect. I can't wait for Doors, which is Tara and Daniel's story. less
