The Three Doors Trilogy
review 1: I was disappointed by the last book in the Spook's Apprentice series and by this one too. (And, I am already worried about Moira Young's conclusion to her Dustlands trilogy.) I thought this book was disjointed and while it tied together some plots from the earlier books, it left too much unresolved and unexplained. Rye, Sonia, Sholto, and Dirk go through the third (wood) door and find a tribe plotting a war against the wrong enemy. Despite their best efforts, things go badly, and the saving ploy was far fetched.
