review 1: My first Eric Arvin book and I was loving it! Hot, straight college football coach falls for gay chaplain, two football players discover they feel more for each other than the close friendship they've always had. Then, the kiss of death.... Fade-to-black sex! Ugh! I freely admit it. I love my books filled with hot man-sex. I don't want to be told "They made love as the president's...." Especially not for a straight guy's first time! But enough about that! I did enjoy the story overall, so I have to give it a 3.5.
review 2: L'autrice mi ricorda Pollianna, alla fine tutto finisce bene. Lo stile non sarebbe malvagio, peccato che i personaggi non vengano approfonditi, la storia è melensa e si scoprono tutti gay, con l'approvazione di tutti gli altri tran... morene lo sfigato del campus e neppure la posizione sociale dei protagonisti viene messa in dubbio, men che meno il ruolo del pastore?! Un etero adulto si scopre gay e non fa una piega, salta da un letto all'altro senza un complesso, solo un paio di dubbi che vengono subito archiviati.Mi dispiace del cinismo, ma la cosa è assolutamente inverosimile anche se è un romanzo. less
