review 1: I loved this book, it was cute, funny, romantic, and with a twist of suspense. Kate was just a regular woman, a banker, a great friend, a good worker, sweet, but oh so clumsy. Then we have Silvia who is like a mother figure to Kate but is a funny and wise woman, then there is Vicky who ends up being more of a enemy then a friend, she is mouthy, loose, and nosy, and Kate's mother is mean, snobby, and is critical. Then we have Cooper who is yummy, handsome, sweet, loving, sexy, but also mysterious. This book is a fun filled romance between a banker and maybe an assassin or maybe not but it is a fun ride that is packed full of surprises and has a fantastic ending, I didn't want it to end.
review 2: Erica Lucke Dean, weaves a hard to put down tale of dating, romanc... moree, friendships, and suspense. The cast of characters are amazing, all with unique and strong personalities. I couldn’t help falling in love with Katie. It may have something to do with the fact that she is so genuine and almost as klutzy as me. I also couldn’t help loving to hate others, like Katie’s mom. She was one “special” lady alright! But my favorite part was learning Cooper’s secret…. I usually am good with guessing what the secrets are – but not this time. Erica really got me good, and I loved it! less
