If you haven't read Warriors: Omen of the Stars; The Forgotten Warrior, then do not read this book!*****************************************************This is the story of Hollyleaf. When the tunnels collapsed on her, ThunderClan thought her to be dead. But she escaped, making a new life in those tunnels. She meets a cat named Fallen Leaves, who shows her around and helps her make her new life. But she feels weird being away from ThunderClan and so helps her clan in secret, in any way she can. Eventually she returns to ThunderClan. This book is pretty short- more of a novella than a novel. It only covers the ti... moreme from when Hollyleaf first goes missing up until she meets Dovewing and Ivypool in the tunnels, and returns with them. Even though it's kind of short, it's a pretty decent read. Three stars.
review 2: This was a nice tie-in to what Hollyleaf was doing between the time she went in the tunnels to the time she came back. It made for an interesting story, with Fallen Leaves playing a big part in it. (I loved that the Erin Hunters included him!) It wasn't a 'wow, I shall remember this forever' kind of book, but I enjoyed the overall story and will now read the rest of the Warriors novellas, since this one has fulfilled my expectations. That being said, I must say, I think this would have made a better super edition. This seemed rushed in some places, and I HATE that Super editions are now just prequels instead of transitions between series like Firestar's Quest, which in my opinion is the Super Edition of all Super Editions. So that would have been a refreshing change for me, but I'll stop complaining now. Anyway, it was a good book, and I can't wait to read more novellas like these! less
