review 1: Erin McCarthy is a must-read author for me, but this was the first book of this series I had read. I will definitely be reading more of them! Erin never disappoints with her clever, funny, yet tender and sweet romances, regardless of the specific characters. Ty was such a sweet guy and fell hard, and the cover was a bonus--what can I say?! :) Ty's dyslexia and inability to read was his only "flaw", and McCarthy handles that topic very well. Imogen was rather bizarre at times, and her sociology thesis was so farfetched and ridiculous, but these characters overcame a silly plot to warm my heart.
review 2: 4.5 stars! Excellent characterizations of both the heroine and hero. Realistic and entertaining dialogue. Great love story between unexpected people~ a ge
... moreeky, educated, big-word-using city chick and a dyslexic, h.s.-dropout stock car racer. Sneak peek at the relationship between Suzanne and Ryder, who will have a book of their own later in this series. Steamy love scenes. Can't think of where the other half star could be in the book, but since I listened to this on Audio, I have to mention I think the narrator did not use a very good voice or accent for Ty. I would give the narrator 4 stars mostly because her gruff, deep and southern accent that she used for Ty seemed strained and not attractive. I can now say this writer is very very skilled!! She is now a favorite author. less

Was not expecting that at the end. It was definitely a good twist and had me on the edge.
