review 1: I didn't enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed 32 Candles but it was still an entertaining read. It took a while to get into this story but once I did I couldn't put it down. I didn't like the fact that Tammy was introduced as a main character yet we (the reader) never got to hear her voice. By the end I understood why the author did it but the fact that she was so invisible throughout so much of the book made part of her story predictable to me. Which leads me to another issue I had with this book-it was overall pretty predictable. There were a couple of moments where something totally surprised me but for the most part I knew exactly how this book would end before I made it halfway through. That being said I still love Ms. Carter's writing and hope she will continue to p... moreut out more quality novels in the future. I am definitely a fan.
review 2: Have you ever read a book that you didn't want to end? This book was like that for me. I could relate to all of the main characters in the book in one way or another. I loved the growth and healing that the main characters experienced. And no great book is complete without some twists and turns that the reader absolutely does NOT expect! It was also cool to catch up with some of the characters from "32 Candles". This book was awesome! less
