review 1: The cover on this is super hideous, but the writing is very good! The story is funny, and doesn't loose momentum as you read. I absolutely fell in love with DJ.**Spoiler Alert!**But, the end, I didn't like it so much. So I denote one star! I want to know what happened to Justin and Kate, but mostly, I want to know what happened to DJ.When I learned he was "bad"-ish, I still like him. I want to know what his motives were. Was he trying to save Kate in the end? Did he go to prison for life? How was he involved in the first murder? There's a difference between driving the get away car, and pulling the trigger.
review 2: I read this book a year or two ago and thought it was absolutely stunning. It was completely appropriate and pure. No sex, drugs, alcoholism or an... moreything!The story is about Kate Carter, a girl who is an amazing artist. One day a police officer comes into her art class to have the students sketch a real live serial-killer, John X, who the police haven't been able to catch. And Kate's sketch is so amazing that the police are able to (finally) catch the guy!Now the police want to make her their new Sketch Artist down at the station. But their are new dangers that arise for Kate. Now she's getting death threats from John X.And all this time that I'm reading the book, I'm hoping and hoping that John X will find her. And then I'm hoping and hoping John X won't find her, for the sake of Kate's life.I truly enjoyed this book and would hands-down definitely recommend it to anyone asking about it. less
