review 1: Those familiar with Abraham-Hicks know that they recommend meditation as a method of stopping self-destructive thoughts and allowing more goodness and fun in life. This CD contains four 15-minute guided meditations: for general well-being, financial abundance, physical well-being, and relationships. The method is to relax, focus on breathing, and listen to one 15-minute track per day for 30 days. It is also recommended that the meditator study part of the user guide (book) before beginning the meditations.I’ve read a fair amount of Abraham-Hicks material, but listening to the CD was an easier way for me to “hear” the ideas, especially when repeated over time. My overall attitude improved and many happy coincidences around friends and money came to pass during the 30 ... moredays. Quite effortlessly I made good progress organizing my home office, something I’ve literally put off for years. Naturally, I’ll be continuing with the daily guided meditations for awhile.The book contains a transcription of the meditations, along with explanations to clarify each concept. Reading the book was difficult for me in the beginning, so I abandoned the recommended method and continued with the CD only. Around day 25, I picked up the book again and interestingly enough the concepts and explanations were clear and inspiring. So the CD might work for you even if you have difficulty getting into the book at first.This CD set is appropriate fare for all Abraham-Hicks and Law of Attraction fans. Anyone interested in improving their overall attitude, financial situation, health, or relationships, provided that they’re open to non-traditional roads to success, might benefit by checking these out.
review 2: For anyone familiar with the Law of Attraction, there is no new information in the CD and guide, which are meditations dealing with General Well-being, Physical Well-being, Financial Abundance, and Relationships. Still, if one is trying to practice getting out of one's own way and allowing good things to flow into one's life, using the meditations daily reinforces the ideas. I listen every morning and find it helps me set my intentions for the day, and over time, I have definitely begun to watch where I put my thoughts and catch myself when they are not the thoughts I truly want. Am I sure my life will continue to get "better and better" as Abraham says...not really. Am I sure I feel better than before I began meditating with these CDs...yes. And that is priceless to me.One dislike about the meditations: like one other reviewer, I also dislike the breathe in and breathe out prompts during the meditations. My breathing just doesn't conform to the speed. Nevertheless, I have learned to tune out the breathing prompts and rest assured that my breathing pattern is just perfect for me. less
