review 1: Very short (only about 26 pages), but hot! I'm not surprised I liked this because everything I've read by Evangeline Anderson I've liked. But anyways, Lena is the one and only Sin Eater in training to serve the god-king Karn the Insatiable. Since she's a virgin, her Teacher has to spend a year with her to prepare her for Karn in all ways sexual. However, she cannot have actual sex with anyone but Karn. But after a year of being taught by Teacher, she's fallen in love with him so she doesn't know what to do about it.Like I said, short and quick, but very hot. Even with a bit of a surprise twist for the ending! :)

... moreeen expressed so much better under different circumstances. I just wasn't drawn in very far here; the couple didn't hold my interest and a great deal of things made no sense. Especially how almost distraught Teacher gets when he addresses the fact that this is the last time they will be together. In reading the end - which was insanely obvious, btw - it just had me shaking my head and thinking, wth? less
