review 1: 3,5 starsI am not sure how I feel about all of those short stories I have started reading recently. Although I really like some, I do prefer a book with more pages and more dept than any short story can provide.As is the case with this story, it is what it is... short. And therefore not a lot happens. Duke and Mav have been roommates for the past 4 years and they have begun exploring each other with the excuse of a game of 'gay chicken'. When will the other 'straight' guy back of.. Or will neither...?I enjoyed the time I spent with this book, but I finished it in under 2 hours... so it was over before I had a chance to get in to the story.Looking for something more substantial now...
review 2: Don't get me wrong, I did like this, and I do actually like quite a ... morefew of Evangeline's books but I'm getting increasingly annoyed that she kind of 'forces' her characters to get together and there's no need for it, it's wrong but it also undermines her writing, some of her books are really really good, like REALLY good but then she ruins it by always putting the characters in a situation where they 'HAVE' to have sex. less
