review 1: Another fine short story venture by Evans Light. As usual Evans gently eases one into the story, then before you realize what is happening the words are flying by at a rapid pace; eagerly seeking the end. This brought back memories for me when riding the (now non-existent) Leonard's M&O Subway in Fort Worth, Texas as a kid back in the 60s. As a kid I always had those fears of it breaking down while in the tunnel and what kind of things or monsters would come after us. LOL; fun times. That and I remembered an old Fantastic Four comic book I read back then where the Mole people were the villains; again good times. Really enjoyed the curve ball or twist at the end in this story as par for the course for Mr. Light. A nice change of direction or break from some of the longer st... moreorylines. Looking forward to the next entry by this talented author. A recommended read for all.
review 2: This is about a guy with a little girl telling tourists in NY about the urban legend of the mole people. the tourists hung on every word he said even laughed at him when he was done telling the story until the story started to come true. See how this man knows the legend so well and what the tourists think when the legend comes to life. This was a very cool short story Evens really knows how to write a story. less

This was a good horror short. The obvious isn't & everyone was masterfully manipulated. Well done!

A dramatized story of a somewhat grim aspect of the city.
