review 1: My first time for a psycho murderess as a heroine and oddly, I found her a fun, flirty and endearing character (no reflection on my I'll have you know). Paired with a staid, serious, demon vowed to celibacy for his one true love to find a pink dragon belonging to Lucifer's granddaughter just makes this quite the romp around hell.This is the second installment in the Welcome to Hell Series. It is a versatile series in that this one can be read as a standalone, out of order or in the correct order with just minor connections to the previous story and a crossover Princess From Hell series.The story moves quickly when two unlikely minions of Lucifer are paired together for an unusual assignment. Both are successful enforcers with high kill lists though their methods are vas... moretly different. Katie aka The Black Widow is psychotic in her dealings from her bloody killings for Lucifer or the way she kills every male that harasses her and that includes lovers. For the first time ever, she is intrigued by a male that resists her and treats her right even when he clearly is not unaffected. Xaphan is half-demon and made a vow to his lady in his human life that he would stay chaste until they were together again only its been over three hundred years and he struggles to even remember what he looks like when his psycho is around. He likes to work alone and is irritated by the crazy, crass female that Lucifer pairs him with. Katie continues at him and manages to wear down his resistance even as they follow the trail of the stolen dragon. He is conflicted and doesn't know what to do about his attraction to Katie and his vow to Roxanne. Katie has a dilemma too. She should kill Xaphan because he's causing feelings to form that are dangerous, but she is reluctant to do so. Sassy, fun, hot, unlikely and just an all around good time. I can't wait to pick up the next one in this series because I know the good time I'll have from start to finish. Paranormal Romance lovers who don't mind having their understanding of hell turned over on its ear with this light humorous world the author created with a unique set of characters along with some flirty dialogue and spicy passion topped off by a little adventure, should grab this one up.My thanks to the author for a chance to read the book in exchange for an honest review.
review 2: Lucifer is setting up couples and they are falling in love. A Demon and His Psycho (Welcome to Hell #2) is another great read. This book is about Katie a psychotic and Xaphan who in the beginning of the book seems normal but turns out that he is almost as crazy as Katie. Lucifer partners the two up to find his granddaughters Pink dragon. There were a few funny spots and well to be truthful the sex was hot. I am really enjoying this series. Who knew that Lucifer was a matchmaker! less
