review 1: This is probably my least favorite story by this author. It was predictable and average. I suppose it was nice to see a different sort of villain, but it wasn't enough to save this story. The only highlight for me was the mini competition between the guys to see who got to pick her up or drop her off just to spend time with her. It was so cute, though a little creepy since in that situation I would have been uncomfortable that my bosses were taking such a keen interest in me.I'm still a little surprised she never felt like they hired her because they were attracted to her. Seriously these guys fumigated their office because she found out there were spiders there. It was just a little too desperate and strange that she never really questioned their act... moreions.
review 2: Yikes! I can relate, I've always hated spiders, but Josie has a very strong fear that pretty much freaked me out :) We start off with Josie looking for a new job - her last boss tried to harass her, and she just didn't have to nerve to face him again. So she sent him an email telling him she was finished at the job... unfortunately her landlord wouldn't care why she didn't have any money to pay the rent, so she wasn't going to be picky. She found a job in a warehouse across town and made the appointment. When she walked into the warehouse, as if on cue, every male in the place stopped whatever they were doing and looked over at her... freaky - But Josie's eyes caught on one particular man - Wow! He was a big guy, and being Josie, big was scary , her eyes traveled over to another male, big too - but there was something about these two who didn't scare her like everything else did - but then something caught her eye in the corner.. up above their heads - a spider - like it turned towards her and started stalking her.. job or not, hunky guys or not, spider triumphs all, she's out of there... Jogging up to catch her, Clint and Brandon couldn't let her know. Their inner wolf was calling to get this woman back into their eye site. Clint is the Alpha of the pack, and Brandon is their beta, it's not normal for a human to attract more than one were, but Clint could see it in Brandon's eyes that he wasn't going to step aside. And when Brandon shook Josie's hand, he could see the spark fly off both of them.. They were going to have to share ... Josie is a meek little mouse - she seems to be afraid of everything - not just spiders, but to speak up for herself, to voice her opinion, or to let herself fall for a gorgeous guy, knowing she couldn't keep his attention and he'd wonder away leaving her with a broken heart... Brandon and Clint - lol they're awesome with Josie - I can feel her fears as she thinks things through, but Clint and Brandon want nothing but to protect her. To keep her safe and happy. Josie learns that the two men are weres, and she excepts that... But when she comes upstairs from doing laundry one Sunday afternoon and finds a note threatening her and her "pups" she calls Clint in a panic. That's when Josie packs a bag and heads over to the Ranch - Great story :) Loved the fictional character at the end who was doing all the mind controlling - just the thought of him gives me the willies :) Great Manage too - these two men are there to make Josie happy, even if she doesn't know what to do with two men :) less

Short, predictable, but a good way to pass a lazy hour on a Sunday afternoon.
