review 1: As far as parodies go, this was enjoyable! It was a fast and entertaining read. It referenced Twilight often...which makes sense since Fifty Shades of Grey was originally fan fiction.I don't think that someone who hasn't read the Fifty Shades would understand most of the references that it uses. IE... Earl buys Walmart where Anna works, Earl works as a bartender part time, and any references to his sexuality.The writing was okay...nothing spectacular but I didn't go into this book expecting it to be considering it was a parody. I think the writer wrote the book well.All in all, I liked this book.

... moreised. I have not laughed out loud while reading since first discovering Christopher Moore five or so years ago. Hilarious, raunchy, cheeky, and super fun, reading Fifty Shames of Earl Grey is a great way to spend your weekend (it's an incredibly quick-read). less
