review 1: If you’re looking for a scorching, forbidden love AND vampire story, then look no further than Covet.Javier has wanted the human, Lilah, for years, but she has always been forbidden to him. Eventually, he succumbs to his urges and the scenes are explosive. He didn’t realize Lilah was just as enthralled with him until they are caught alone, and it’s almost like a mating urge takes over. The story and character development was perfect, and even though the story was mostly about Javier giving in to his urges, we meet his fellow vampire friends and see where the series will continue. It is definitely worth reading over and over.
review 2: Meh. I love vampire romance erotica, but this never caught my interest. It's a short story that I got for free, but ... moreI won't be getting the rest of the series. Just didn't like the whole idea of vampires "owning" humans even without the human's consent. Did not enjoy the world building. The characters themselves are okay. The erotic scenes are okay, but to be honest I found myself skipping over them. Not awful, just not very good to me. less
