review 1: This book is a well written fictionalized novel of the suffering that the nurses that served in the Pacific during WWII went through.We follow the main character Margie through nursing school, her time as a nurse, and then the terrible ordeal she suffered as a POW. Not much is written about the terrible pain inflicted on the women that served alongside the soldiers in the Pacific zone. I enjoyed this book immensely, the writing was fluid, and it was well edited. This book has a little bit of everything for every reader, it has romance, action and suspense.
