review 1: Okay, not this book, in the beginning was starting to get good, in the middle it was getting better but then I was starting to feel okay now we are getting somewhere, then at the end, WTF! What did I miss, what when where, it felt incomplete; I understand this suppose to be a short story, but dayum this book was really short; Example, Had Sex, lost virginity and yes I'll married you. Again I have to say WTF! I wanted more, needed more.
review 2: Night Owl Reviews said... 4 1/2 StarsFeeling small and dainty was never an experience for Fran Jamison. At 5’11” she looked eye to eye with most men and that hit them in their insecurities. As a result, she was often the butt of jokes and ridicule from her contemporaries. Except for Jack Gerrard. He was alwa
... moreys nice. But with her firmly ingrained inferiority complex Fran shot him down in flames when he worked up the courage to buck his buddies and ask her out. And she’s regretted it ever since. Both Fran and Jack are dreading their reunion, so when Jack agrees to pick up Fran from the airport, along with some of his former friends who used to torment Fran, he makes it clear he’ll allow no one to intimidate her. He stakes his claim immediately and makes it obvious to all who are observing that she’s his. Now he just has to convince her. When Fran realizes her ride is none other than the star of her fantasies Jack Gerrard, she has a minor breakdown. What should have been a group of old classmates riding in a van ends up being Fran and Jack alone in a parking garage. And the sparks fly as well as the buttons on her blouse. Not sure how to handle the inflammatory emotions and physical reactions, she cuts and runs. But Jack is good at chasing...The predator and the prey. A favorite theme for a reason. It took years of self-examination as well as therapy but Fran is happy in her skin and she exudes a confidence all men find attractive. To one man she’s utterly irresistible and always has been. The seduction and stalking of Fran made for a hot and steamy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. And her man can cook, too!Note: This book was published earlier under the title "First and Ten" less
