review 1: Kael is in the US, he has just killed his latest target when he spots the boy, he has been seen, by rights he should eliminate him too, there should be no loose ends. But the boy escapes and hides in the shower, when Kael finds him he is overcome by his beauty, against all he instincts, his training, and all the rules, he cannot bring himself to harm the boy; instead he decides to bring him home to England. The boy, his name is Angel, he tells Kyle he is twenty, he is beautiful, slender and with blue eyes and lots of blonde hair, and very young despite his claims. His dream is to be a Daddy's boy, he has read it all up, checked it out on the internet, but he is a virgin, he knows when he sees Kael at six feet five inches tall, every inch pure muscle, it is his dream come tr... moreue, he wants nothing more than to be Kael's boy, to please him, to serve him, and to be loved by him. But Kael has been burned once by love, he cannot let himself love again, an his job, an assassin working for SIS (MI6), does not make falling in love practical. Kael will do anything for his boy, he can straighten out all the problems of bringing him to the UK, over come all the red tape, but can he let himself love Angel, can he even admit that he loves him?Angel and the Assassin is a well written, a tender and moving love story spiced with erotic love scenes and plenty of BDSM. Angel is willing to take anything his Master/Daddy deals, and please Kael he does, and Kael is prepared to do whatever it takes to keep him. I loved this story, the growing relationship between Kael and Angel is delightful, Angel is so sweet and enthusiastic, a complete contrast to the mature neatness freak that is Kael, who normally only goes for older men.
review 2: Really a 3.5 star read for me. I have to deduct points for the overabundant use of Daddy because it just annoyed the HELL out of me. Daddy kink just isn’t my thing, even though I did like the chemistry between Angel and Kael. They both needed something that only the other could give. Kael didn’t know what his life was missing until he took Angel with him instead of dealing with him the way he should have. And Angel found that strong man he had always dreamed of to keep his sassy attitude in check. I probably will give book 2 a chance, Daddy be damned! less

Despite its horrible cover this is a fantastic book. I fell in love with both Angel and Kael.

Like this one a lot. Had some pretty funny moments, and Angel was just a doll.
