review 1: Weird, slightly out of whack and extremely simplistic. Not bad. I was incredibly entertained and had lots of fun. I mean, a wolf that suddenly sports fangs and drinks blood? I was amused. How could I not be? Was I impressed with the story or the writing? Hell no. The plot was pretty much non-existent, the conclusion left more questions than answers and the characters were cardboard clichés apart from the whole "wolf drinking blood and vampire going furry" thing. But. I had a good time. I laughed a lot and I can't say I'm sorry for picking this up.
review 2: 1.5 StarsAlthough I liked the premise and I'm a huge fan of paranormal MM romances I was totally disappointed in this book. First off I don't read MM romance to have one of the main characters have a sex s
... morecene with an under-aged girl. I have a feeling this to will come back to haunt us in future stories from this series, if you read them.None of the characters are really developed. The hatred between the Lycan and the Vampires is over the top. And for being strong alpha men I'm not seeing a lot of back bone. The romance is weak and the sex scenes had no passion. Your left hanging in book one, but like always I refuse to let one book define the author. I'll give the second story a try. less

I am so sorry to say I stumbled through this book, but I really honestly did not care for it all.

I didn't care for one of the heroes. I thought he was a jerk and never warmed up to him.

The development of the relationships is a little weak, but I liked the book in general.

Good start to a series, questions remain. Guess I'll be buying book 2.
