review 1: This book had so much potential to be a great book, instead it was just flat out boring. I think I entered in the middle of a series, even though I had no problem understanding the story. Paul & Andy are a couple for 2 years now, and they have fallen on the so dreaded "married" routine. They don't talk, sex is meaningless, and they're drifting apart more and more. After a getaway to try to lit the old spark, they find Zach at the side of the road. I did not liked Zach. He went to LA, because he thought he could be the next great new shit at Hollywood. He soon discovered he was not alone. So, to keep food in his mouth and a roof over his head, he trades sex for shelter. He worked as stripper, and even tried his hand at porn. What I didn't liked about him, was the fact that ... morehe didn't want to change. He wanted to keep on living off other guys, and shaking his moneymaker at some stage, than to try something else.The story was paced too fast for me to believe that after a few days they were all in trio-HappyLand.Had this book been longer, and better paced, it would be a GREAT read. Too bad it wasn't
review 2: A very simple and unoriginal story about a couple that has started to drift away from each other and picks up a young guy who will make them whole again. It's not memorable at all, because other than the romance there's nothing to give it color and substance (no secondary characters, no subplot, no interesting backgrounds ...).Also, I couldn'd see the love between the two successful professionals and the twenty-two year old stripper/hustler/boytoy. Lust and attraction there was plenty. Boytoy wanted someone to take care of him and Andy and Paul want to spice up their sex life, but there's nothing else that holds them together or at least the author doesn't show it on the page. less
