review 1: I absolutely adore Garrett Leigh. I read his series called Roads a few days ago and found out that he had read other series, so obviously I had to read them. And I wasn't disappointed. This book was great. Only Love is about a wounded soldier who goes back to the civil life and end up meeting Max, his new roommate. And love happens, a very cute relationship and not an instant one on top of that, and angst, emotional scenes that make you want to cry for days. I love Leigh's writing. There's nothing fancy about it, and yet it's so enjoyable and easy to read. So easy that I read this book in one day. I loved One Love simply because the characters were great especially Jed, the main character who's a wounded physically and mentally retired soldier. I found him quite interest... moreing and I found myself sympathizing for him, and hoping the best for him and Max. I also loved the whole Jed's army crew, especially Glenn. He was gold. He was the definition of a good friend, someone who you can count on and rely on. That's why I love him so much I think. He makes me think of friendship and loyalty. This book was filled of love, tears, joy, heartache, friendship and cuteness. And it was so good and entertaining. review 2: Wow, this book was truly good! Jed was a disabled war vet who was so damn stubborn it made me want to pull my hair out so many times throughout this book. Max was a wonderful man who suffers from epilepsy but is very independent and set in his ways. I just knew they would crash into one another head on and there lives would change drastically from there. This book truly moved me because I also have seizures and to read the way this author wrote about them had me in tears. What a beautiful story! less
