review 1: This was a wonderful read and so well-written but it was just too short. Unsatisfyingly so. This is part of a series so I do hope there's lots of checking in with these 2 in subsequent books, or even better another book dedicated to them, because as it stands it feels like there's a lot still up in the air. *Update: ok it turns out the series is going to keep returning to Sonny and Levi and the last book will be theirs again, so with that in mind I'm pushing this up to 5 stars.
review 2: 4.5 stars--This read is very nicely done--good writing; good editing; nice story. There was enough angst to satisfy and a healthy dose of steam as well. All the characters were interesting, most were quite likeable--especially the MCs.For a read of just over 100 pages, Leigh di... mored a good job of character building--I felt connected to Levi, and while less is known of Sonny, I really liked him and want to know more.Although the book doesn't end in a climatic cliffhanger, much is left up in the air. I definitely want more of these men...and hopefully soon! less
