review 1: I found this book to be all over the place. I liked the historical fiction aspect of the book. I thought it was clever to have a story line with Abraham Lincoln and the current connection to Martin Luther King Jr., but the characters in the book were having their own personal turmoil that made the book feel choppy and left you questioning the main idea behind the book. It felt like two different books combined in one.
