review 1: Being a fan of Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series I was quite excited to read this book made up of extra goodies. The first story within the book was a Lords of the Underworld prequel, The Darkest Fire. I enjoy this tale and that the majority of the tale takes place in Hell. I felt this tale helped to depict more visual details of the Hell of the Lords of the Underworld series. I found the love story between Geryon the guardian of Hell and the goddess of Oppression Kadence to remind me a bit of the tale of beauty and the beast; which is one of my personal favorites. Although the ending could be proceeded as sad in a way I found it rather beautiful and to my satisfactory. The second tale within the book was of the Tale of Atlantis series, which I have not had t... morehe pleasure to start reading yet. The title was The Amazon's Curse, which was fitting cause the heroine was an Amazon cursed with ghostly attributes. Being this tale was my first glimpse into this particular series I can say I look forward to reading more on the series books. The third and final tale within the book was another Lords of the Underworld one, titled The Darkest Prison. Out of all three short stories this one in particular was my favorite. To have the hero and heroine despise each other at first and to realize their hate is closer to another emotional passion is amusing to myself as a reader. Then I quite enjoyed the element of the tattoo branding, it was something quite different I haven't seen before. I just wondering with the way the story ended will the readers see more of Atlas and Nike within the Lords of the Underworld series, and as a fan I hope so! As for the rest of the book it included a Lords of the Underworld Bonus Guided, which was amazing to read! I enjoyed the playful interviews of the characters, the early Lords draft, and all the extra tid-bits!
review 2: Doh... Should have bought this before I bought the other two novella's in ebook format. Loved Bianka's story of how she meets her Angel. It was a brilliant story and it had me smiling, it was also nice to meet the Angel Olivia who has been spying on Aeron.I also LOVED all the extras in the book and found Williams Q&A with the boys really funny as well as the interview of Gena by Kresley Cole. less
