review 1: The only reason I finished this was because of the price I paid for the e-book. I refuse to "dnf" a book that costs me $9.99. The only redeeming quality to the book was the town in which the story is set which is why it get's 1 star. Other than that, this is pure fluffer. No real story. Just weirdness. The sexy times were even off kilter. It felt like it was just slapped together and forced. The damn book was shorter than her Lords series and cost more. WTH? No way you would think Showalter wrote this. If you're a true fan, I would wait til your library has it because if you gotta shell out the $10 charge you're going to be supremely pissed at one of your favorite authors.
review 2: Sad really. I bet she wrote this in Jr. High. Silly, and the the facts often
... morecontradict. Like saying he wondered what she tasted like(now)when he saw from their first kiss (much earlier) he would die if they got involved. 2nd story - she put him in chains in a cell. Then the chains reversed onto her later because it was negative?? Also, the first time they transported with the spell they went back to their original spots after...and then they didn't. Etc. Don't waste your time! less
