review 1: Barretta, G. (2011). Zoola Palooza: A Book of Homographs. New York: Hentry Holt and Company.Teacher's Choice AwardChoice BookThis book teaches young students about homographs in a fun and engaging way. The word choice is great and the illustrations are bright and match perfectly with the homographs used in the story. This book could be used for an English lesson on homographs for second or third grade students. I would definitely put this book on the shelves of my classroom library.
review 2: I didn't think I would enjoy this book as much as the other books I had read this week but I really loved it! The homographs through out the book were hilarious and they were in bold and all caps so they really stood out from the other words. I thought the bolding and c

This book is great for teaching kids what homographs are and the difference between the uses of the homographs. Also, the illustrations were fantastic. I loved the illustrations and seeing all the different animals playing instruments and partying. I also like how it was many different types of animals instead of one animal group. I would use this book in my classroom to teach homographs. less
