review 1: I would love to be able to eat this way, but with anemia and hypo-thyroidism and allergies to nuts, it simply isn't practical. There is no way I am going to eat pounds and pounds of kale and broccoli every single day. I will never eat meat - haven't done so in over 25 years. But to give up organic dairy products? I don't think that is necessary. These are a small part of my diet, but they are good sources of protein and keep me from being ravenously hungry.
review 2: For anyone already familiar with the vegetarian/vegan lifestyles this book will not most likely present any new information. However as the companion to the documentary/film this book could be very helpful to those just starting out on a plant based diet. It could be a handy little book to keep aro
... moreund ones kitchen for these folks. However I did not realize this, and as such was disappointed. Not a bad read, but I was hoping to compare this to the documentary, as I usually find that the books are better than the films. less
