review 1: Obviously, New Adult are taps of feelings which hardly suit me… But I love it!We follow the story of two teenagers. Yes, they are two and precisely the writing proceeds under their points of view, which makes the story even more interesting. Rowe (Rowe, rowe the boat, you see the continuation of the song?) is a girl with a heavy past (what, again?! Yes again), whereas Nate is a jovial guy. You have the feeling of deja vu too?! But with a good look here, this impression is not the same one. The events are not the same ones and the painful past even less (thanks god). Rowe and Nate find themself again and again. But what is interesting to follow, it is Rowe. At the beginning, we hesitated over hier role and at the end we wishe her the best. She is not a pain in the ass, we... morell… she is just in love. With regard to the characters said "secondary", they do not have really a precise role with respect to Rowe or Nate. Our two protagonists evolve almost without them. They are only brothers, or a new beneficial meeting in the case of Cass. They do not have real impact in the story, just a light main idea. But really light. In short, this book makes me smile all while drawing me some tears. I am in a hurry to know the continuation, because the next volume concerns Nate's brother, Ty.
review 2: This is Falling The falling is the first book I have read by Ginger Scott. The synopsis looked like the story was going to be a sweet story and a nice romantic read, which It was. The story was really nice, but heartbreaking. The story wasn't just your standard romance story, it had great characters that were witty and had depth to them and the story wasnt a predicable read. The story was told in alternative POVs, between Rowe and Nate. I aways like this in a book. It gives you such a better story in my opinion. I love getting to look in each characters mind and thoughts and I find you get a better look when you have alternate POVs. Rowe is very socially ackward. She has her guard up around others and doesn't let anyone in very easily. Rowe is like this because of a horrible tragedy that has effected her life for the last 2 years. She has come to a very hard decision and wants to move forward with her life and start college and finally start a new life over again. I really liked Rowe and admired her. She tried so hard to move on with her life and to fit in with everyone at college. I loved watching her slowly open herself up to others and I really felt for her and the author made you understand how hard this was for Rowe to do. I adored Nate. He wasn't a alpha male like your used to reading about these days, he was just a sweet person with a huge heart and just a all round good person. I loved how patient he was with Rowe. He knew she had baggage and she was struggling, so instead of pushing her for answers or to make her open up behind she was ready, he just became her best friend. Someone she could rely on. I loved that the author made their love journey build slowly and that it wasn't love at first sight, even though there was a connection. I found it refreshing to read a story where the damaged girl instantly falls in love and her problems are all forgotten. The author did a great job at not doing that and that even though there was a connection between the characters she never pushed them or rush the story. Nate was so patient and understanding to Rowe all through the book, I enjoyed watching him heal her and the journey they took together as friends and then as their friendship and trust grew to love. The author wrote both characters perfectly. They complimented each other in everyday and we're just perfect for each other. I loved how they would play pranks on each other and all the humour and wit in the story, that broke up the seriousness of it all. Ginger Scott wrote a beautiful story. I loved the whole thing from start to finish. It was a refreshing story to read and I found the story flowed beautifully. Ginger created amazing secondary characters aswel in the book. I loved Nates brother. He was so funny. Overall I really enjoyed the story. The author wrote a very touching and sweet story about moving forward, letting go of guilt and finding love when you least expect to. The humour, Wit and banter all the way throughout was a bonus that I didn't expect, but added so much to the story. I can't wait to read "For you and everything after" Nates brothers story next as I, sure it's going to be just as amazing and funny as this book. less
