review 1: This book was freaking awesome. Loved it. Reed and Nolan went through so much more shit this time around then when in high school but shit it was worth it and Im so happy for their happy ever after in the end. I love the friends (Sarah, Sean, Becky, Trig, Sienna) which made the book just as good too. Your a great author and cant wait to read more of your books cuz so far all the ones I have read have been pretty awesome.
review 2: I read this back to back with 'Waiting on the Sidelines'. A shorter read than that one, the criticisms I had of that book stand for this one. Namely, that the book meanders its way over the course of several years, with the only key events really happening are (yet again) the multiple break ups and reconciliations of Reed and Nol
... morean. This made for a frustrating read, with it feeling like I was reading book 1 all over again just in a slightly different setting with slightly older characters. As with the first book the author deals with some difficult, but realistic, issues young people/young adults face. However, for me it was too little. I wish the author could have just let her characters be happy much earlier. The issues could still have been addressed in the novel, albeit in a different way. It's worth noting this book is from the dual viewpoints of Nolan and Reed. I thought the author did an okay job of this. All in all, an okay but disappointing read. less
