review 1: I started out really liking this book and finding myself a little addicted. But then the book let me down. Where was the love story and seriously a proposel at the end even without a date. Maybe if there was more time spent together than it could have been a little believable. Also the kids are suppose to be a handful. She has two experiences with them than all of a sudden it skips till she knows two things they like and know everything is all good.A book with a lot of cute potential that I found very disappointing.
review 2: My Lucky Groom was a quick simple read. The storyline seemed like a been there done that plot. Fumbling fat girl (if you consider a size 12 fat, I don't) gets a makeover and meets the man of her dreams who just happens to be rich. A m... morean who has two kids that were made out to be total brats but whom took to the main character Ventura Hart rather quickly and fell in love with her. Ventura just has one amazing thing after another fall into her lap. This book was too over the top for me, especially for a story that was so brief. There was no real build up or connection to the characters. less
