review 1: This week while at the library my 3 year old son picked this book out to take home. It was chosen because it displays a large giraffe on the cover. However, the inside of the book did not have anything to do with the giraffe. I am not sure if it was missing a page because the book does not have page numbers. Overall it is a very cute book. It catered to my son's curiosity. He enjoyed the different animals on each page. It has fantastic artwork, and it allowed my son to create his own stories of what is happening on each page. However, the artwork does take away from the print. A few pages were a bit difficult for me to clearly see the words which would make it difficult for someone who is color blind, or a new reader.

... morezing illustrations lend itself to the child interacting with the book asking questions...There is a big dog in front of a pot of tea steaming as the snow can be seen coming don outside. Who is going to come to sit in the big red armchair.....At the end of the book the black and white pictures tell the answer...the big dog is sitting in the easy chair....the giraffe has clouds around it's neck...and the owl has the tail of a mouse in it's beak.......it makes a child want to read it over and over.....and the tiger/cat with stripes is seen more than once but where is it pictured at the end? less
